B series

Why the I Series?

METAL I SERIES

  • The “I” series is primarily used and designed in for water tight applications, specifically while in mated condition. Also outdoor and harsh environments.​

  • Found in applications where the device. ​

  • The plug has an inner sleeve to prevent water from creeping in though the locking feature. ​

  • The receptacle has an O-ring to prevent water seeping in around the panel but also has an O-ring inside that seals the plug when mated.​

  • This causes the connector to be bulkier, heavier and cost more. This series is commonly used. ​
